Gadot and her husband first crossed paths back in 2006 at a funky ‘chakra/yoga retreat-type party’ out in the Israeli desert. According to what she shared with Vogue, she was just 21 years young at the time.

“It was one of those situations where he was too cool for school. We were in the same friend circle, but it was like we never really noticed each other before,” the Justice League actress recounted.

But as they began chatting, something sparked between them right away. “I remember getting home and thinking, ‘Is it too soon to call him? I really want to go out with this guy.'”

Varsano, on his side, was also swept off his feet. “We chatted until 10 p.m., then ended up sharing a kiss at sunrise and holding hands as we drove back to Tel Aviv. In that moment, it felt like we were inseparable. It was a beautiful beginning to our love story.”
